The Ministry for Education and Employment announced that new syllabi will come into force in the next Scholastic Year.

In a Facebook post, the Permanent Secretary at Ministry for Education and Employment said that the changes will apply for students joining Kindergarten 1 in October 2018 and for Students who are currently in Year 2 and Year 6 and will be in Year 3 and Year 7 respectively.

Schools and teacher are currently being prepared for these changes.
